Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to mp4.fyi and any subdomains *.mp4.fyi.

1. Your responsibility

You may stream only content that you are legally allowed to share. You are responsible for your stream and for complying with applicable law and the rules of any platform where it is displayed.

When using VRCStreamer with VRChat, you must follow the current VRChat Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Creator Guidelines.

2. Prohibited use

Do not use our servers under *.mp4.fyi to stream or facilitate:

• illegal content or activity;
• child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, or content that endangers minors;
• pornography, sexual content, or non-consensual intimate content;
• real gore, extreme violence, shock content, or credible threats;
• hate, harassment, bullying, doxxing, or targeted intimidation;
• terrorism or violent-extremist promotion;
• copyright, privacy, or other rights violations;
• malware, phishing, fraud, spam, or attempts to disrupt VRChat, our servers, or another system;
• impersonation of another person, mp4.fyi, or VRChat;
• illegal goods, illegal gambling, or other regulated activity prohibited by law or VRChat rules.

Do not evade technical limits, interfere with other streams, or consume unreasonable server resources.

3. Public-instance standard

VRCStreamer cannot determine where a stream URL will be displayed. Content permitted only in a private or age-restricted setting must therefore not be sent through an official public VRCStreamer server.

4. Enforcement

We may stop a stream, restrict access, preserve relevant operational records, or block further use when we reasonably believe this policy has been violated. Serious illegal content may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Enforcement decisions are made in good faith and may be taken without prior notice when necessary to protect users or the service.

5. Reporting

See Report Abuse or email abuuse [at] mp4 [dot] fyi with the subject Abuse Report.

Do not send, download, or redistribute illegal material as evidence. A stream URL, UTC timestamp, and description are usually sufficient.
